- The respite provider who assisted us with providing
relief had a familiarity with issues affecting our child. We
found comfort in knowing that he was leaving with someone
with whom he felt both safe and secure. Social concepts we
had exhaustingly tried to instill, were now reinforced using
a team approach, and although we cannot totally explain this
one, he actually grew to hug us upon returning each evening.
Respite has aided us all. The time and space Upstate Respite
Services provided was healthy for every member of our
family. We thank you very much.
